After swiping right on each other through an online profile, Jack first paid eyes on Monique and decided to shoot his shot and send her a message. After back and forth messages for a couple of months, a casual date was unexpectedly planned.

Finally meeting after months of suspension, they sat talking on the couch talking for hours.

One thing lead to another and thus their story begun.

Monique grew up on the Northern Rivers during her childhood, where Jack relocated to Alstonville after growing up in Moree. Despite living 5 minutes from each other, their paths never crossed.

Jack purchased a ring and popped the question to Monique the night before their planned gender reveal. Intimately sharing the moment together, Monique said yes.

The couple welcomed their son Ziggy into the world in December 2024.
